How to fix group policy editor missing in Windows-If you are a power user, you might be scrolling through command prompt, registry editor & group policy editors rather than use the UI to perform the tasks.

However , if you upgraded to Windows 10 Home edition from any previous versions of Windows, you might be missing the Group Policy editor.

Using Group Policy editor , you can tweak some Windows settings that aren’t normally available from the graphical interface.

The group policy editor is used to change settings regarding the Windows registry(its lot more simple than using Regedit).

It has two sections: Local Computer policy &  User Configuration.

Normally Windows Home edition doesn’t seem to have group policy editor enabled by default. But you can enable it using this simple program.

Steps to enable Group Policy Editor:

1: Download the software patch by clicking the link at the end.

2: Install it by Right clicking & selecting Run as Administrator

3: Now Right click on Start Button & select Run.

4: Type in gpedit.msc 

5: Done now you have the group policy editor enabled on your  Windows 10 Home.
